JustCaviar ships all perishable items via Fedex overnight to ensure freshness. We use an insulated container with frozen ice packs to keep your items cold during transit.

Our shipping rates are based on the actual product weight. Because of our volume, we receive substantial discount rates from Fedex, and we pass every penny of those discounts on to you. Nevertheless, shipping perishable products is more expenive that shipping non-perishable products due to the increased weight (frozen gel packs are heavy), the need for expedited delivery to ensure freshness, and the cost of insulated shipping containers. High gasoline costs have increaed Fedex rates an average of $10 to $15 from last year. We continuously look for opportunities to reduce shipping costs for you.

Most orders ship the same day for orders received before 2pm Pacific time. For some items, it may take up to 2 days to process your order, so that we can obtain the freshest products for you. We ship Monday through Thursday (we do not ship Friday, Saturday, or Sunday so that your items are not in transit for more than one day). Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii incurs an additional charge. We are sorry that we cannot ship our perishable products to Canada or internationally.
